Forbidden Donegan
For the time being, I’m out of Forbidden, but I imagine I’ll be back. The folks over there have been really generous, so I’ll keep you posted on my status with the show. You can still check out the recording, though, to hear my performances as Ra&uactue;l Esparza, Harvey Fierstein and a ton of other great musical theater icons!
Forbidden Cast Album
Now out on DRG records. I am prominently featured on the recording (and that’s me on the cover). The bulk of the CD features our opening night cast, comprised of Jared Bradshaw, Janet Dickinson, Val Fagan and me. It also features Michael West, Megan Lewis, Jeanne Montano, Gina Kreiezmar and Bill Selby.
New Works
My new addiction is developing new musicals, and I’m lucky enough to have a few enablers on shows like The Kid, Sense & Sensibility, The Prodigal Boyfriend, Sympathy Jones, Cold Comfort Farm, Ethan Allan and a few more. I won’t go into all of the amazing stories here—or the terrific roles I have in them—but I really dig being even a small part of these fantastic shows as they’re in development.
